Cynthia Spencer Hospice provides specialist palliative care services for West Northamptonshire. 


"At Cynthia Spencer Hospice we provide inpatient care, outpatient services, Wellbeing services, Hospice@Home, lymphoedema service and palliative care clinical nurse specialist service." 


They have specialist Consultants in palliative medicine, a team of doctors and specialist nurses working within the Hospice and the community as well as in Northampton General Hospital and Danetre Hospital in Daventry. Cynthia Spencer Hospice would not be able to provide and continue to grow their services and teams without the support and generosity of the local community. The cost of running the hospice services across Northamptonshire is over £6.5 million, part of which comes from the support of local companies and individuals throughout the county.


The inpatient ward at Cynthia Spencer Hospice has 16 beds and is supported by a team of Nurses, Doctors and other Health Care Professionals who are experts in palliative care. At Cynthia Spencer Hospice they specialise in helping patients and their loved ones to get on top of difficult symptoms, deal with any physical pain and reduce emotional distress.

Jason's Story

Jason, one of our cherished customers, sadly lost his wife, Janice, to Breast Cancer in April 2016. During this hard time, the couple received care and support from the staff at Cynthia Spencer Hospice. In his mission to help the hospice, Jason turned to Steffans and proposed a project that would truly make a difference.

In Janices' memory, we curated a beautiful pendant design, now purchasable as a necklace or bead bracelet, with all profits being donated to the Cynthia Spencer Hospice. We are honoured to have worked with Jason on such an amazing project, and we appreciate your support in raising the funds to help an amazing local charity and those who sadly need to use their services.
