Where does my lab diamond come from?

Even asking for proof of a lab diamond's origin can be challenging nowadays.

Was it grown in the USA but polished in India? Was it grown in India and Polished in Belgium?

These are questions that can sometimes come with indefinite answers.

Origins?

Diamond origins only differ by their sources:

Mined diamonds come mainly from alluvial, pipe, and marine mining.

Russia is the top diamond-producing country, followed by Botswana, Canada, Angola, and South Africa.

Lab diamonds are grown in various locations around the world in advanced facilities. These include the United States, China, Russia and India.

The difference?

Obviously, the main difference between a lab-grown diamond and a mined diamond is the origin, one is from a mine, and the other is from a lab.

Visually Lab-grown diamonds also exhibit nature's variations in colour and inclusions.
